Description

Cookies and Cream Bark is a simple, delicious treat made by combining creamy white chocolate with crunchy Oreo cookies. This easy no-bake recipe requires just two main ingredients and comes together in minutes, making it a perfect giftable dessert or snack for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz white candy coating or white chocolate chips
  • 15 Oreo cookies, chopped into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Prepare baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper to prevent sticking and to allow easy removal of the bark once set.
  2. Melt white chocolate: If using a bar of candy coating, chop it into small pieces. Place the candy coating or white chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for one minute, then stir. Continue microwaving in 15-second bursts, stirring between each, until completely melted. Take care not to overheat or the chocolate will seize and become solid.
  3. Fold in cookies: Gently mix the chopped Oreo cookies into the melted white chocolate using a large silicone spoon or spatula, folding carefully so the cookies do not break apart too much.
  4. Spread mixture: Immediately pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly to about 1/4 inch thickness. The surface doesn’t have to be completely smooth; the visible cookie pieces add appealing texture.
  5. Set the bark: Allow the bark to set at room temperature or chill briefly in the refrigerator for quicker firming. It will be easier to cut if not too cold.
  6. Cut into pieces: Once set, cut the bark into squares or irregular pieces as desired for serving or gifting.

Notes

  • This bark uses only two ingredients, making it quick and easy to prepare.
  • You can use either white candy coating or white chocolate chips based on your preference.
  • Be careful when melting the chocolate to avoid overheating, which causes it to seize.
  • For firm bark that’s easier to cut, brief chilling helps but avoid making it too cold or brittle.
  • Store the bark in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for longer shelf life.
